T-Shirts – Get yours here! Orders typically ship within a couple of days, however, shipping times could be longer; production demand increases as we approach summer. So delay no further, buy your shirt(s) today!
For children, consider buying blank t-shirts in the same color. The Gildan brand is sold in stores, including Hobby Lobby, Joann, Walmart. In the Roanoke and Franklin County areas, prices for children’s sizes run as low as $2.50/shirt and up to $6 each.
The companies that produce the t-shirt and the other items on the website, respectively, are in different states. It is recommended that shirt/apparel orders be placed separately from other product orders, to avoid problems with shipping calculations.
Count of Reunion Attendees
We’re maintaining the estimate of 250. Cousins responsible for food and provisions are asked to bring enough for 100 persons, as this will result in plenty of food options for everyone participating.
Minutes & Itinerary
It was a very frustrating and confusing final call, yet we managed to get through it. The reunion itinerary presented was specifically stated as suggested times; it was not brought to the group as a definite schedule. However, it was shot down, tossed around, and came back as what was initially presented. I don’t even think those who shot it down realize it. Throughout the call, those asking questions immediately engaged in side conversations while a response was being given. Well, this is what makes families so unique and special; the stuff that family stories are made of.
The “Floating” Itinerary (meaning time is not absolute):
9 am: Start setting up
11 am: Check-in (slap on a “My Name Is” sticker)
12:30 pm: Welcome, Blessing/Prayer, Lunch
2 pm-Until: Socialize

Previous Meetings
Please review the minutes from the previous meeting for more information about the reunion. (Click on the date to go to that page.)
May 5th – The participants were few, so we confirmed the number of our family members expected to attend the reunion.
April 21 – We added a fun activity in which each family line will work together as a team. An heirloom item will be awarded to the eldest person of the winning team.
March 17 – The main activity is for each family line to prepare a photo collage of your Hancock parent (child of McKinley & Cornelia) and his children. We will share info about that parent’s life/career/military service/hobbies and name that person’s children. We will also name persons in our Hancock line who served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
February 18 – Refined the food assignments, updated a t-shirt color, shortened the activity list
January 14 – Initial planning meeting; food & supplies assignments, t-shirt color assignments, activity ideas; list of nearby hotels with contact information
